Located on Southern New Hampshire University's campus, the McIninch Art Gallery commissioned a logo design to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The logo incorporates key elements from the gallery's permanent collection which features artworks from diverse backgrounds and narratives that are brought together in one place. The logo symbolizes how art can connect and unify us.
The process
The logo design needed to communicate the key traits of 'art' and 'unity', which inspired me to sketch concepts centered around symbols that convey these values to the client and their audience.
The hand represents hospitality and craftwork while the brush represents fine art.
The painter's hand gently holding the brush created a harmonious, captivating design that flawlessly blends all art values and unity.
